Calm Strips
Calm Strips are sensory stickers that provide a way to vent nervous energy brought on by anxiety. The pleasingly tactile texture grounds you in your body and the simple breathing exercises awaken you to the present moment.
Their request was for me to create designs for a new collection meant to appeal to a large but under-served portion of the “fidget” audience: adult women. The gentle guidance for each exercise is illustrated through simple and colorful visuals intended to relax and delight.
The response has been overwhelming: Mental. named Calm Strips one of the Best of Mental Health for 2022, and the collection was Calm Strips’ best seller of the year (despite being released only a few months from the close of the year).
